Your Role & Responsibilities
Control of the entire manufacturing-related tasks of new start-up projects from customer request to serial production taking into account costs, deadlines and quality
Updating of process-related records (work schedules, process parameters, setting plans, etc.)
Creation of maintenance orders (IW21,IW31) and purchase orders
Convening of emergency meetings in case of a risk that project objectives will not be achieved
Participation in audits
Workplace design and optimization of current processes
Determination and documentation of know-how from production (lessons learned)
Execution of machine capability investigations for screwdrivers, leak testing systems and dummies to ensure the current production in an annual interval
Execution of analyses (e.g. fault analysis, breakdown analysis, setup time analysis) with a subsequent development of measures
Determination of construction deviations
Processing of measures from quality-notifications (92 and 93 SAP)
Processing and implementation of continuous improvement measures
Cooperation in the achievement of targets regarding cost-cutting measures
Initiation of measures for quality deviations(according to 8D-Report)
Workplace design and optimization of current processes according to the LEAN principle
Processing of work packages of new projects according to PDP
Your Skills & Strengths
Several years of professional experience in the automotive industry
In-depth knowledge of production processes and machining technologies, in particular brazing and stamping technology,
Good SAP R3 and MS Office skills
Good English knowledge
Engineer's degree in mechanical engineering / vehicle technology or technician or comparable training
Flexible and a high degree of teamwork
Customer-oriented work, as well as cost- and time-conscious thinking and action
Experience in the development of manufacturing concepts according to Lean principles
Knowledge of Six Sigma methods
