Work within IAMS (Identity and Access Management Services). Services include application ID and system access creation and enabling, password reset, account enabling & disabling.

Other functions are performed to minimize the possibility of security risks to State Street as well as to ensure that the applications and platforms administered are in compliance with the published security administration standards.

Day-to-day support for production applications which are part of the global business strategy. The successful candidate will work with team members in Poland and Edinburgh on a daily basis as well as interacting frequently with teams in other global locations.

Responsibilities :

  • Manages a small team of information security administration staff.
  • Performs most complex identity management and administration support tasks within areas of expertise for several security environments
  • Evaluates proposed security changes for risk and recommends compensating controls
  • Provides technical assistance within areas of expertise
  • Investigates deviations of control procedures or violations of information security procedures and recommends corrective action.
  • Participates in projects within the department or corporation; serves as lead on tasks in areas of expertise
  • Assigns personnel to various operations and directs their activities.
  • Provides input into performance reports
  • Qualifications :

  • Relevant degree qualifications, Bachelors or equivalent
  • 2 3 years of related Experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiarity of information security operating systems
  • PC proficient
  • Prior risk management or audit experience helpful
  • Positive team player.
  • Ability to manage own time and prioritize tasks effectively. Pays great attention to detail.
  • Can-do attitude with ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Highly-motivated self-starter able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - able to communicate effectively to the business as well as other IT teams both written and orally.
  • Responds to client requests in non-standard situations, investigating all the facts.
  • Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations; generates possible solutions, assesses each using standard procedures and makes a sound decision
  • Multilingual : a plus
  • English language : Fluent business-level
