Join a team that delivers a variety of Accounts payable or Accounts receivable services including e-banking payment administration and Inter Company Accounting.
You will be responsible for monthly closing activities. You will manage vendor payments including managing disputes and escalations with procurement.
You will partner with business managers and drive continuous improvement and on time delivery. You will participate in internal and external audits and report and resolve non compliance issues.
You will ensure that all Company policies and procedures are met with correct authorization and documentation. Key responsibilities :
Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysis.
Be able to analyze factory costs and data in order to drive proper financials decisions
Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
Increase productivity by developing automated reporting / forecasting tools
Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
Ensure financial reporting is performed timely and accurately for multiple allocated reporting units and legal entities.
Support SOX-compliance and adherence to books & record provisions
Support accounting per US-GAAP, Balance Sheet Reviews and Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts
Partner with commercial finance, tax, treasury and legal on projects
Support Corporate Audits in the Country and remediation actions to improve internal controls
We Value :
2-4+ years of business finance or other relevant experience
Fluent in English
High proficiency in financial modeling techniques
Hands-on experience with Core-ERPs (Oracle or SAP) desired
Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics
Strong analytical and data gathering skills
Good business acumen
Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to reconcile high quantity data
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data query / data management tools is extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects)
Experience from external audit and / or experience working within a matrix organization considered a plus
German knowledge considered a plus
