The Project Manager will initiate, lead and implement improvement projects for Philips. These projects focus on the development of new capabilities, implementation of strategic initiatives and improvement of existing operational processes.
Projects cover the global E2E processes, from suppliers, through manufacturing and distribution to end customers.
Projects aim at developing best practice approaches to ensure the seamless and effective integration of new products, services and applications in key markets
You are responsible for
Using the processes defined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), the Philips Excellence Process Framework (PEPF) and MA Services specific processes, initiates, plans, monitors, controls, and closes projects of limited scope and complexity
Collaborates with project sponsor and / or business owner on the initiation and staffing of assigned projects
Collaborates with project team on development of a project plan to achieve the deliverables specified in the project charter
Leads the project team in the execution of the project
Ensures the project progresses in accordance with the scheduled specified in the project plan
Ensures that deliverables are achieved on-time, within scope, within budget, and with expected quality
Provides project sponsor, business owner, and steering committee with reports on the progress of the project including variances, risks and issues
Maintains a current level of knowledge in MA service processes with special focus on professional services

Jobholder is reporting to PMO Lead and will be supporting projects initiated by BG PCMS, MA&TC Services. Job holder has no direct reports.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Domain knowledge and understanding of the relevant disciplines in MA Services especially around organizational change or professional services or consulting services
Broad knowledge of planning methods and estimation techniques (resource, cost, time, and risk).
PMI Project Management Professional certification
Philips Project Management Professional certification (or ability to earn within 6 months if new hire)
Quality and compliance requirements
Group facilitation techniques
Face to face and distance-based presentation skills
Strong written communication skills
Competency in Microsoft Office tools including Project and Visio
Fluency in spoken and written English
Master or bachelor degree in science, engineering, or business
3 years or more of experience working on project teams
