Principle duties and essential functions

The primary responsibility of the Associate System Integration Test Engineer will be to design, develop and continuously execute automated regression tests for ADVA ’s FSP 3000 CloudConnect™ optical platform.

Other tasks and responsibilities

Development of automated regression tests for DWDM optical transport product line

Continuous regression enhancements, maintenance and execution

Ensuring general system stability, reliability and robustness over the course of new features development

Design and test environment setup for various test scenarios

Working closely with R&D development team to identify issues

Documentation and tracking of defects in the test management system

Knowledge, skills and experience required

Master of Science degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or similar faculty

Very good language skills in English

Experience with Python or other programming languages

Experience with Linux OS

Experience with GIT version control system

Basic knowledge of WDM Optical Networks

Experience in software testing methodologies would be a plus

Experience with Robot Framework would be a plus

Experience with shell scripting would be a plus

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Self-motivated, teamwork oriented and well organized

Flexible, open minded and eager to work in fast changing environment
