We are currently looking for a Electrical Engineer to be a part of our design team responsible for DC Traction Power Supply equipment.
Developing solutions for our customers all over the world and working on our market-leading technologies will challenge and enrich your work.
Reporting to Project Management Team Manager, you will create or modify the pre-engineered designs of DCTPS equipment, by applying standard design concepts.
You will also provide support to the project engineer in the design and development of electrical documentation for DC Traction Power Supply Equipment such as : switchgears and semiconductor power converters.
Preparation of a concept and an electrical design for DC Traction Power Supply equipment based on customer specifications and available documentation;
Selection of devices, development of diagrams with lists of electrical parts and preparation of the documentation accordance with standards and design requirements;
Supervision over the implementation of the project and supporting the project engineer in the final customer acceptance of the proposed electrical solutions;
Creating and updating databases with new articles, macros and typical diagrams;
Participation in developing new solutions as well as defining and implementing new ideas for electrical designing;
Create reports and related documents in accordance with internal and external requirements;
Work closely with the lead engineers and implement design development rules in ABB software.
Degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline;
Preferably 2+ years of professional experience working in design related environment;
Experience in EPLAN Electric;
Well-developed English language skills;
Design experience in development of electrical equipment
A high level of independence and responsibility for the tasks entrusted;
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience of working in railway side equipment design will be considered as an advantage.
