What you’ll do
We are looking for a Senior Operational Administrator for the SAS Cloud Operations Center in SAS’s Cloud and Information Services (CIS) division in Poland .
You will be responsible for all aspects of our hosted and remote managed SAS application environments with a focus on providing 24x7 support for our EMEA customers.
As the Senior Administrator, you will have the opportunity to help grow a team of SAS Operational Administrators in the SAS Cloud Operations Center in Poland.
This team will go on to provide full 24x7x365 support for all SAS Cloud EMEA customers and ensure service quality across all our hosted and remote managed customer environments.
You will be coming into a new and biggest growth area in SAS global. You will and have the chance to help to shape how we work in region while working for a variety of customers day-to-day.
You will :
Serve as technical escalation support for other team members.
Contribute to overall service quality by identifying or leading efforts that reduce time, reduce toil, and / or improve the customer experience with SAS Cloud services.
Assuming a lead role in long-range planning and special projects or projects of increased complexity.
Develop training material and / or conduct demonstrations, or assist in them.
Provide hands-on administration, maintenance, and installation of SAS Enterprise software and solutions.
Responsible for applying standard changes to the SAS applications such as updating business data or configuration of the SAS applications for our customers
Use IT Service Management best practices for change, incident, and problem management to meet and support Service Level Agreement requirements SAS Cloud customers.
Configure, manage, monitor, and debug mid-tier software.
Manage, monitor, and maintain container-based applications deployed in cloud container services.
Diagnose, document, report, and resolve system problems.
Participate in a 24x7x365 on-call rotation.
What we’re looking for
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Fluent in both spoken and written English
5+ years of technical experience including :
1+ years of experience Enterprise Platform Support
3+ years of experience in systems support, user support, customer support, consulting, or training for enterprise class software and / or hardware.
2+ years of experience with UNIX or Linux supporting enterprise class applications.

The nice to haves
ITIL Foundation certified
Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like MS Azure, AWS, GCP, or OpenShift
Experience with Python, Ansible, or Kubernetes
Technical understanding of SAS software and solutions
Excellent written and oral communication skills
