As HF group we provide fulfilment solutions (Returns management, Picking, Packing, Shipping, Fulfilment Value Added Services) for the ottogroup.
Hermes Fulfilment is going to establish a new site in Iłowa in Western Poland near the border to Germany which will work in synchronization with its german counterpart located in Gernsheim.
At maximum capacity around 2,000 employees will be working at the Ilowa site.
As Head of Technology and Engineering of an e-commerce fulfilment site in Western Poland near the Germany border, you lead the local team of highly skilled technicians and ensure that the site is fully functional on operational level at all times.
Sharing technical insights with counterparts in other HF sites is a must.
The role covers two important main tasks, which are
1) playing a key role in the setup & technical launch of the site., plus
2) ensuring continuous daily technical operations, fast troubleshooting, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across sites.
Responsibilities
Leading, planning and coordinating the work processes of the operating technology with focus on service and planning
Ensuring the technical availability of all systems according to the requirements of system and plant users in day-to-day operations
Leading, motivating and developing the technicians in team
Disciplinary management of technicians in team
Control, organize, and streamline workflows
Ensuring security of the systems used
Continuous improvement (weak point analysis, development of concepts)
Active participation in cross-departmental projects
Requirements
Successful completion of an engineering degree or technical degree
electrical engineering or automation)
Very good knowledge of e.q. the siemens tia portal, WinCC, electric drives and siemens plc
Experience in maintenance for highly automated warehouse sides
Very good knowledge of computer systems and data networks for logistics
Processes or several years of professional experience in this area
Experience in goal-oriented employee management
High social competence and strong communication skills
Analytical and conceptual thinking as well as responsible action
Knowledge of modern IT systems Confident appearance, strong communication skills, resilience and perseverance as well as entrepreneurial thinking combined with teamwork and flexibility
