    Overall Purpose of The JobTo provide an efficient and effective crewing recruitment services, focusing on finding Medically qualified candidates, either for V.

    Group managed vessels or external customers.Key Responsibilities and Tasks1.Maintains contact with regional officers and crew on leave.

    Updates contact manager, their availability, validity of their documents and Certification , training needs , US Visa, MCV and any other information that may be necessary towards their planned placement in accordance with the Company’s procedures.

    2.Send compliant proposal of officers to crewing team and ensure Medical examination, Training, Flag state and travel arrangements, including visas are done promptly.

    COE is issued and ensure seafarers endorsed to crewing are fully compliant

    3.Responsibility of sourcing senior ranks i.e. Masters and Chief Officer as required by Crewing. Also responsible for the recruiters supporting sourcing activities for (deck / engine) department.

    4.Ensure all records are fully updated in recruitment data base and that accurate notes on seafarer profiles are taken.

    5.Develop contacts and maintain good relationships with various maritime authorities and embassies / consulates in the region so as to be able to get their services and assistance as required to achieve seamless crewing operation.

    6.To plan and monitor the sourcing and attraction of seafarers for future positions and growing talent pools.

    7.To manage the selection and assessment materials and processes.

    8.To create and maintain accurate reporting to the business including KPIs, key objectives and PDR’s team.

    9.To have visibility of rotation planner in consultation with the crew management team.

  • Possesses a Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience of in-house recruitment
  • Significant direct sourcing and networking experience
  • Strong experience of assessing and selecting the best possible talent
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Work with a strong sense of urgency; with the ability to switch priorities quickly where required
  • DESIRABLE :

  • Preferably with at least three years’ experience in manning industry as Recruitment Officer / Onboard experience as Manager in relevant industryWhat can I expect in return?
