Role overview
The Business Development Manager role is a strategic position responsible for identifying and delivering new customers in line with the company’s target growth areas, in Retailers, Brands, Convenience Retailers and Services
The role will require you to deliver innovative customer solutions, develop a customer acquisition strategy through a qualified new customer pipeline and to deliver new business growth through custom mixed materials in all sectors
Key responsibilities will include achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, building relationships, and understanding all market trends to promote growth and develop a value proposition for target customers
Key skills & experience
Experience of selling merchandising solutions to the Retailers, Brands & Convenience Retail sectors
Proven track record of new business delivery and account growth in a challenging environment
Demonstrable evidence of developing strong and robust relationships with multi contact points within a customer
Understanding of the customer decision making process and the ability to articulate a value proposition to increase growth / new business wins
Knowledge of business development principles and their implementation within the Retail, Brands, Convenience, and Services sectors
Strong presentation and communication skills that can be clearly evidenced and articulated
