Opportunity for a Technical Support Specialist to join Honeywell Building Technologies in Katowice during this exciting time of expansion for our business.

As a member of the BMS Technical Support team, you will provide first level technical support to customers using Honeywell Building products.

Supporting customers from various countries across Europe will give you a chance to use your language capabilities on day to day basis.

BMS manufactures and maintains building management systems, and has delivered products, software, and technologies that are installed in more than 10 million buildings worldwide, helping customers ensure their facilities are safe, energy efficient, sustainable and productive.

Honeywell BMS are major player within BMS solution across the globe, since 2018 BMS has supplied complete solutions in Poland for four hotels, Hotel Europejski, Moxy Hotel Airport, Hotel Warsawa and Hotel Verde.

The ability to work as part of a team is essential, you will be supporting a team of Advanced Engineers in a level 2 and 3 capacity.

The Role / Core responsibilities :

  • 1st response to BMS Technical TTC and SI stakeholders over touchpoints; phone and e-mail
  • Manage and log requests on BMS’s asset system Salesforce / NEX
  • Liaising with the contract Account management, to ensure our existing customer contracts are processed accordingly
  • License management for legacy BMS and Niagara based systems
  • Support Honeywell brands with further touchpoints under the Multibrand support umbrella
  • Issuing customers with literature that can support and promote self-help
  • Supporting other parts of the business to resolve escalated issues arising from customer contact i.e. complaint ownership and call escalation
  • Responsible for Inbound / Outbound Calls in relation to all types of queries and escalations from internal and external customers
  • Proactively look for and implement process improvements
  • Effective problem resolution on basic and non-technical cases
  • Data collection through Salesforce / NEX

  • We’re looking for

  • Bachelor Degree in technical field (or equivalent education or experience in similar roles)
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German
  • Good level in English
  • Experience in providing technical support
  • Basic understanding of electrical concepts, installations, IT
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Previous experience with troubleshooting software or hardware
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft, specifically Excel and Outlook
  • Salesforce experience preferable.
