Description

Person on this position will join The Global Information Security (GIS), which provides efficient and consistent IS services to IS Officers and other GIS groups to support Citi’s IS program.

The Information Security Strategic Operation Coordinator will interface with business leaders around the world, auditors, and senior internal stakeholders to action and communicate daily oversight, escalations and exceptions.

He / she will also help to manage, review and improve the IS Utility’s operational processes.Immediate start is preferred for this position. Responsibilities :

  • Prepare various Information Security (IS) reports for business managers, Information Security Officer (ISO) community and business representatives
  • Follow up on different activities for key IS processes, for example : IS Trainings, Identity and Access Management, Third Party IS Assessment, IS Risk Acceptance etc.
  • Communicate with the respective parties to complete IS assessments, reviews on time
  • Escalate issues based on predefined criteria
  • Support the manager in organizing and managing Operations
  • Proactively manage changes in reporting scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Assesses the applicability of previous or similar experiences and evaluates options under circumstances not covered by procedures
  • Perform tasks in accordance with the policy of Citigroup
  • Participate in audits
  • Work on process improvements including process redesign and tools enhancements
  • Leads meetings in fast paced environment communicating complex IS topics effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Serving as a manager deputy including : manage the team during Manager absence, assist with recruitment process, resource planning and delegating tasks, etc.
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in information security, other Risk Management activities, operational management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in process management / operational management
  • Previous experience in leading people or people management will be a plus
  • Proven ability to drive the execution of processes and standard procedures, operational tracking and readiness to improve the end product, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong customer service and problem solving skills.
  • Attention to details and strong organization skills
  • Deploy superior data skills, which will include the competency to recognize trends and the cognizance to analyze results for reasonableness.
  • Experienced in remote / matrix management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English is a must
