We are a team of IT experts, who provide excellent services for GSK sites worldwide on a daily basis. As a part of a global healthcare company, we work in a multinational environment, support around 100 000 GSK employees and over 20 000 systems in the entire company.

At present, at our office in Poznan, we employ about 700 highly-skilled professionals.

Your Responsibilities :

The Vulnerability Management Consultant will play a vital role in the daily operations within the Vulnerability Management Service.

Primary focus will be to ensure that the scanning of our environment is consistently occurring, troubleshooting and remediating incidents and requests that come into the service.

Aiding internal customers understand their vulnerabilities and work with them to ensure appropriate action is being taken to remediate the risk to GSK.

The ideal candidate will help to support the existing service, and ensure it is positioned to meet the growing threats against GSK’s systems and data as we continue the Digital journey.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following :

  • Support an industry leading Vulnerability Scanner technology in the support of a continuous vulnerability scanning program.
  • Monitor and support scripts, and technologies utilized to ensure vulnerabilities are discovered and reported on in a timely fashion.
  • Perform daily service health monitoring and participate in daily operations standups.
  • Review threat intelligence on vulnerabilities and work with various members of the organization to determine potential impact and draft security assessments and recommendations for our customers on how to remediate the associated risks.
  • Ensure incident and requests are remediated in a timely fashion during working business hours.
  • Partner with senior resources within the team and stakeholders across the company to identify process deficiencies and develop and implement improvements to decrease the time to remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Data analytics and visualization. Utilize, develop, and maintain dashboards and metrics to report and track vulnerability exposure and remediation efforts.
  • Play an active role in setting the direction on the overall solutions and services related to Vulnerability Management.
  • This will include the identification of gaps, evaluating and implementing products and process improvements, and evangelizing our capabilities.

  • Review vulnerability data and look for areas of concerns based on subject matter expertise.

    We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals :

  • Associate’s Degree or Technical Certification
  • General IT background
  • Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new concepts, systems, and software independently and quickly

    Knowledge of systems / software development methodologies and system architectures

    Strong verbal & written English communication skills, sufficiency to build and maintain organizational support

    Preferred Qualifications :

    If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus :

  • IT Security experience with a major organization
  • ITIL
  • Security certifications
  • Scripting experience
  • Experience supporting an enterprise vulnerability scanner (Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7)
