GroupMs primary purpose is to maximize performance of WPPs media agencies by operating as leader and collaborator in trading, digital marketing (performance, programmatic, search, social, audience planning), content creation, proprietary tool development and other business-critical capabilities.

DATA SCIENTIST Warsaw
Specialist / Senior Specialist (person able to execute independently).
Collaboration with a group of fast-paced, extremely dedicated coworkers who are all passionate about digital media and technology
Working with a team that is constantly innovating
Creating custom segments based on features of cookie level raw data (DMP data) data science techniques for segmentation / clustering
Creating custom segments based on predicted propensity to buy / click / visit www / etc., i.e. propensity to be a member of a certain segment data science techniques for prediction / class membership prediction
Creating custom profiling / audience reports based on cookie level raw data (DMP data).
Creating Whitepapers / Case Studies in the area of Data Strategy
Attribution Modelling development
Over time, becoming an expert in DMP / digital data where it comes from, how it is aggregated into segments, what is the quality of the data, how to check for quality / ensure quality
Over time, becoming an expert in DMP enabled analytics / digital analytics what is possible / what works well / what does not work.
Writing SQL queries to fetch and pre-process data required for analyses (e.g. Google Ads Data Hub / Google BigQuery SQL queries)
Working with cloud data infrastructure (e.g. BigQuery) to analyze digital log-level / user-level data and write data science pipelines
Working with cloud environment to run data science models (e.g. scoring or segmentation models)
Passion for Data Science
At least 1,5 year of experience in data analysis / data science or similar
Expertise in statistical programming language Python or R / R Studio (with preference for Python)
Excellent analytical skills and strong statistical knowledge, as well as interest in applying them to complex problems
Interest in / Curious about Computer Science, not afraid of learning how to write a script / program in a new language
Quantitative background, ideally in one of the below : data science, computer science, statistics, econometrics, big data / databases / BI.
However math, physics or other quantitative backgrounds are welcome as well
Understanding of Big Data architectures and solutions such as Spark will be an additional advantage but is not required
Practical experience in SQL ( minimum basic level), Python, data science segmentation / prediction algorithms
Knowledge of / experience in programmatic digital media and / or gathering data in the digital environment will be an additional advantage
Familiarity with digital data ecosystem, ideally Google Marketing Platform / Google Cloud data ecosystem - nice to have
Languages : good command of English (able to contribute to / lead conference calls in English from time to time).
