Where will the future take it next?
Lead Product Development Team in Poland. Provide direction to team members, while actively contributing code. It is expected that the lead will develop about 70% of the time with 30% going to management tasks.
Assist manager by directing and implementing the initiatives for a department within a sub function of a function.
Provide direct supervision to professional individual contributors.
Provide feedback to team members as necessary to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Consult with manager on staffing and performance issues.
Cooperate with our global development and support teams to improve processes and solutions.
Support team in design, develop, and documents applications
5+ years of Java development experience, including knowledge of JSP, Servlets, JDBC, Spring Framework
Experience with at least one of AngularJS, React, Node.js
Experience with Databases and SQL
3+ years of experience in any of these databases : Oracle, Postgres, DB2, MySQL
Strong grasp of relational database concepts
Experience with application servers such as Oracle WebLogic, IBM Web Sphere, JBoss
Experience with tools like Ant, Maven, SonarQube, TeamCity, etc.
Strong leadership and communication with self-starter attitude and attention to detail
Ability to quickly grasp concepts, analyze problems and provide innovative solutions
Good verbal and written communication skills
English language proficiency
Expert in software engineering processes and Agile Software Development (Scrum, Kanban)
Preferred Skill & Knowledge :
Exposure to :
Servlets, Web Services
HTML5, CSS, COMPASS, SASS, LESS
AJAX, JSON, SOAP, REST
Understanding of different OS Memory management strategies, heap structure, and design patterns;
Good knowledge of TDD and Unit testing
Experience with a Time and Attendance or Scheduling application is a plus.
