About the opportunity

The CRM Data Insights Manager (Digital Marketing) for the Europe and UKIME regions will develop and define the CRM data-based insights offering and implement, manage and oversee its delivery to the business.

In order to achieve this successfully, the role holder will lead as well as be hands-on in the review, update and implementation of the regions' CRM tools, systems and business processes (including GDPR), to drive up their adoption and effectiveness all of which underpin data quality and their reliability.

The Digital Marketing group works to continuously increase profile and opportunities, through the collaborative and measured use of integrated, multi-channel digital marketing practices and tools that empower Dentons marketers, business developers and professionals to generate more leads, close more deals and increase their efficiencies.

Insights / metrics

  • Develop, define and drive the delivery of actionable data-based insights, underpinned by InterAction CRM, Vuture Email Marketing and other platforms and data sources, tracking their usage and outcomes to continually ensure their ongoing effectiveness and value to the business.
  • Lead on the scoping, development and delivery of management and other timely metrics reporting to drive performance and best practice.
  • Drive and deliver best practice usage of the regions' CRM tools, along with their ongoing development and improvement to support the insights offering.
  • Ensure all CRM data is held, used and processed in accordance with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Campaign engagement

  • Working with the Clients & Markets team and other stakeholders, lead on improving our clients and prospects email marketing campaign engagement rates, including ensuring contact profiling and underlying marketing lists are maintained and cleansed across the business with best practice in mind.
  • Programmes of change

  • Participate in, work with and support the various programmes and projects of change across the business that improve insight capabilities, outcomes, efficiencies, CRM usage, data profiling, and data privacy compliance and management;
  • and where necessary actively step in and play a hands-on role in progressing matters.

    Team workflow

  • Lead on the process mapping of responsibilities and workflows and cover protocols with digital team members that support the Clients & Markets team to ensure a seamless delivery.
  • New joiner training

  • Work with IT training to establish best practice for new joiner training, and other stakeholder groups.
  • Other responsibilities

  • Support the (Global) Digital Marketing Leadership team in its various development and management activities and initiatives, as directed.
  • Become a trusted advisor to Digital Marketing, Clients & Markets and the wider business.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments regarding insights, presenting findings with Digital Marketing to the Clients & Markets teams.
  • Build strong awareness of the various data sources, and where required lead and / or participate in the various Firm projects that touch on / or influence data insights.
  • Build strong relationships with the various vendors, as well as oversee the service relationship of IKS, the regions' data stewarding service located in India.
  • Support the Firm's growth initiatives where advised.

    About You

  • Client or marketing insights manager with 5+ years' experience, gained within professional services.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering and managing insights and change programmes.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with using CRM, email marketing and reporting platforms.
  • Strong ability to plan, prioritise, meet deadlines and escalate / upward manage.
  • Strong collaborative ability to work within a team, to agree priorities, task ownership and deliverables.
  • Keen ability to engage at all levels of seniority, with confidence and credibility.
  • Ability to function across multiple time zones.

  • Good familiarity with data, data flows, structures and warehousing, analytics and BI reporting and their tools (Power BI would be an advantage);
  • coding is not required for this role.

  • Sound appreciation of organisational structures, taxonomies and their management.
  • Strong with MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint. Projects and Visio would be an advantage.
