We have an opportunity for a Sr. Business Consultant within our Safety and Productivity Solutions (SPS) Business Unit, located in Warsaw - Poland.

The Senior Business Consultant is the primary consultant, the solution expert, and the industry expert during the pre-sales and design phase of the sales process.

Working closely with the customer, the Senior Business Consultant will identify business opportunities and propose solutions of value.

  • This position is responsible for defining and documenting the proposed Vocollect voice system application(s) Process design, analysis and / or proposing the new processes ;
  • and is also accountable to schedule and document the detailed knowledge transfer to the Vocollect Implementation Project Manager of the system that is integrated into the customer’s environment..

    Responsibilities :

  • Provides consultative recommendations as well as integration and application design input to the prospect or customer.
  • This includes presenting sales demonstrations with a focus on proactive promotion of business case solutions.

  • Prepares and validates Return on Investment analyses for each project pre-sales and post implementation.
  • Participates in joint sales calls with the members of the Vocollect sales team for the purpose of providing both operational and technical support.
  • Assists with training partners to increase their ability to sell, implement, and support Vocollect solutions.
  • Interacts with and inquires business needs from various customer representatives ranging from executives, senior operations management, IT representatives, warehouse operations management, and end-users throughout the pre-sales process.
  • Documents the initial system design and application requirements during the presales process; generates the initial system architecture documents;
  • plus working with the Implementation Project Manager (IPM) to obtain the required budgetary estimates relating to New Feature Requests and system change requests.

  • Responsible for complex, in-depth technical support and product assistance in the selection portion of the sales process.
  • Provide internal Product Development group with customer feedback for the improvement of existing products and the development of future products.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Requirements :

  • College degree or equivalent work experience, an above average knowledge level of supply chain distribution logistics.
  • Minimum of five years of on-site customer support experience including experience managing multiple, complex projects from start to completion;
  • and minimum of 5 years in pre-sales support roles and situations related to sales demonstrations, sales meetings, and customer negotiations.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in distributions centers / Warehouses designing or improving processes.
  • English language is mandatory
  • Demonstrated success in applying various solutions within differing environments.
  • Working knowledge of TCP / IP, FTP, DHCP, Telnet, routing, and client / server computing as well as general networking concepts, protocols, and related diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and to prioritize workloads in a dynamic and progressive work environment.
  • Professional written, verbal and presentation skills, ability to effectively interact with all levels of the customer’s environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight approximately 40% to 60% on an annualized basis
  • Fluency in English language; any East European language is desired
