Your responsibilities :
Foster innovation. Work with L2 ops team, SMEs, SDMs, and Engineering colleagues to ensure NCIS support services stay ahead of the market.
Think about what we do today versus what we should be doing tomorrow.
Able to prepare high / low level design for Network infra and get it approved via CAB process following change management process under ITIL.
Work on assigned Project / Incident / Change / Problem tasks assigned and complete them timely
Implement manual complex changes during the monthly Global Network Greenzone maintenance. This includes manual network device upgrades in critical environments following the upgrade process created by the Global Level 3 Team.
This affects every region and every network device type.
Drive major incident conference calls as a representative of NCIS through consistent, professional, and highly assertive communication
What are we looking for in a candidate?
3+ years of experience in providing network operations support
NOC (Network Operations Centre) experience is highly preferred.
Good level of English in speaking and writing
Expert / Advance level working knowledge of enterprise TCP / IP communications (IPv4, QoS, IPSEC, etc)
Expert level working knowledge of Cisco routers and switches, WANs, (T1, T3, MPLS)
Expert / Advance level working knowledge of three of the following routing protocols : EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, RIP
Any of following Industry Certifications are highly preferred* :
CCIE will be added advantage
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is highly preferred and required within 1 year of hire.
