In this role, you have the opportunity to

Monitor the execution of the entire purchase to pay process, provide correct and timely bookings and reporting and coordinate activities between external provider and local organization.

You are responsible for

  • Acting as first point of contact for vendors and internal stakeholders to investigate and solve issues in the process that will result in process improvement.
  • Coordinating and monitoring the execution of the entire purchase to pay process (PTP) in order to address specific needs from internal and external stakeholder.
  • Coordinating PTP process in Philips, liaising with Philips Businesses and 3rd party suppliers as appropriate in order to improve customer experience and resolve issue.
  • Handling and caring over the generic mailbox.
  • Managing / coordinating local accounts payable activities as appropriate.
  • Delivering relevant information for proper execution of the process by operational Team.
  • Providing relevant reporting, validate data and analytics.

    Our Global Business Services EMEA Hub in Łódź where we centralize our business processes. Our focus is on supporting faster workflows and collaboration across departments, to enable leaner operations and improved results.

    1000+ strong and growing, our Global Business Services EMEA Hub in Lódź teams speak 30 languages and represent 13 different nationalities, supporting our operations in 50 countries supported on a daily basis.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University graduate with at least 2-3 years of work experience in Accounting / Finance area.
  • Fluent English
  • Experience in IFRS accounting and book keeping in the international company (AP) (must have)
  • Microsoft Office on advanced level (very good command of Excel)
  • Problem solving skills (Lean / Six Sigma methodology is desirable)
  • Ability to take ownership for the process
  • SAP experience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Team player, Open minded change agent who demonstrates the Philips Behaviors
