We are currently looking for a Data Reporting and Visualization Analyst to join our Knowledge Management Team. Rather than develop reports which only tell what happened, we seek to create stories with data to unlock hidden insights.
We want to take our users on a journey through their data helping to highlight insights and opportunities.
The Opportunity :
In this role you will be primarily responsible for developing datasets from application data via SQL and other database languages, conducting statistical analyses, and creating compelling visualizations for our internal clients.
You will help shape the future of what data-driven organizations look like, drive processes for sourcing, analyzing and interpreting data in creative ways.
You will partner with the knowledge platform agile team, knowledge managers, researchers and the Data and Analytics team, to design and deploy analytics models, solutions, visualizations and story-telling primarily in Tableau, that provide business insights to support strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, build, maintain, and optimize data visualizations and other self-service tools to provide actionable insights that enhance business and Knowledge Services decision making
Shape best practices in visualization to deliver an excellent end user experience
Assist in development and delivery of new data sets and metrics (especially from new application features)
Partner with Knowledge Services stakeholders to define their reporting and analytics needs and develop solutions for delivering against them
Promote the use of data and analytics technologies to drive efficiencies in the production and consumption of Knowledge Services and management reporting
Assist with the identification and deployment of efficiencies and enhancements in reporting and analytics
Support all Knowledge Services demand for data-driven insights across all platforms
Learn core Knowledge Services systems and workflows
Perform and suggest topics for ad-hoc analysis for larger strategic themes e.g. content strategy
Support non-knowledge platform related systems and reporting requirements
Perform analysis required to support department manager presentations
Perfect candidate :
Strong database language skills ( SQL )
Understanding of data warehouse processes, dimensional modelling and ETL / Integration
Bachelor’s / MS degree
