Your responsibilities

  • Participation in project execution and studies for gas plants on LNG and LPG carriers, offshore (FPSO) and onshore
  • Develop, test and maintain software products efficiently and according to agreed processes
  • Development of system design and preparation of documentation and drawings
  • Evaluation of bids, review of vendor documentation and supplier follow-up
  • Ensure information flow with other disciplines
  • Technical clarifications concerning customer, suppliers, class and yard
  • Take part in design reviews, HAZOP sessions and milestone revisions
  • Technical support for commissioning and start-up activities
  • Our requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Automation, Cybernetics Engineering or other relevant degree.
  • Knowledge of software architecture and programming experience
  • NACOS Valmatic
  • Siemens STEP 7 / TIA portal
  • AVEVA plant SCADA (Citec SCADA)
  • Experience from maritime (ship / FPSO), Oil & Gas or process industry automation
  • Knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards and class rules such as IEC, IGC code, ABS, DNVGL and BV.
  • Experience related to control systems design specification and control cabinet design documentation
  • Experience from testing and commissioning
  • Experience in use of IFS Plant design and SAP is preferred.
  • Good English language skills, both verbally and written
