Role Purpose :

Financial Controller is responsible for financial management of the assigned scope and performance of processes in a medium complex area of expertise.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Monitoring of Revenue recognition, costs allocations, WIPS and accruals; analysis of margins and detection of problems and anomalies.
  • Forecast and Actual Data Analysis. Prepares financial forecasts and plan / actual analyses for a business / project and supports the decision-making
  • Business Support. Acting as a first point of contact for financial matters to external customers as well as organization’s sales and delivery departments
  • Problem Solving. Analyzes business problems and recommends corresponding solutions
  • Operational Risks and Added-Value Management. Planning and controlling of own added-value levels and operational risks
  • Financial Compliance. Performing financial processes in according to organizational procedures and policies
  • Decision Making Support. Providing relevant commercial information and analysis to the business responsible parties
  • Maintenance of financial data in the information systems (SAP)
  • Processing purchase orders, creating sales invoices and credit memos
  • Monitoring Expenses. Maintaining and developing controlling tools to monitor expenses
  • Skills required :

  • Advanced command of English and German language is a prerequisite
  • Excellent business German or English is an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in finance area, including at least 1 year of experience in Controlling area
  • Finance / Accounting university degree preferred, professional certification in finance area is an advantage
  • Strong accounting knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel
  • Experience in working with SAP
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Sound sense of pro-activity and taking initiative
  • Capability to handle end-to-end responsibilities
  • Solution oriented thinking and working
  • High awareness of cost, budget and risk considerations
  • Ability to work independently
