Work as part of core networking data-plane software team to design, develop test and maintain various software / firmware components spanning driver / control / data-plane on Marvell arm64 OCTEONTX NextGen SoC.
Job Responsibilities : Work in data plane team for next generation of Marvell arm64 Cavium Octeon TX / Octeon - TX2 server platforms, responsible for DPDK / ODP implementation of user space poll mode driver : Introduce new library to DPDK / ODP.
Optimize existing driver and application. Interact with HW team on SoC specific details. Documenting API / ABI using doxygen.
Our expectations : Good knowledge on ODP or DPDK, aware of user space poll mode driver implementation, Solid programming skills in C.
BSc / MSc in Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunication / Teleinformatics / Physics or similar with at least 2 years programming experience in data plane area.
Solid debugging skills, used to work with gdb, Linux perf tool. Nice to have knowledge on : QEMU / KVM(Kernel Based Virtual Machine) Hands on experience with PCI based NIC cards / architecture, preferably on 10G or faster NIC's.
Shell scripting or other scripting language like python, Perl Good knowledge on Linux kernel, preferably Linux networks driver, and Linux network internals.
