Purpose of the Position : Under general supervision, manage the medium and long term balance of customer demand and supplier capacity to ensure market requirements are met and to maintain uninterrupted production.
Essential Functions : (List all basic responsibilities related to the purpose of the position)
Analyze vehicle documentation changes for option code errors.
Audit vehicle order configuration to ensure buildability with the selected option codes.
Manage changes, coordinate option code timing, analyze code dependencies, technical dependencies, etc. and update systems according to introduction date status in collaboration with a cross-functional team.
Work with Sales and other internal departments to identify production risk and preventative measures to avoid impacts to production.
Analyze trends / stability of the vehicle order’s option content together with Sales.
Prepare and present code related issues to various levels of management with the responsibility of understanding and explaining the unique problems and timing associated with each restriction topic.
Manage complexity reduction activities as required.
Manage the introduction timing of product overview changes for pre-series codes in collaboration with a cross-functional team to ensure requirements for trial vehicles are met.
Analyze market introduction option plans and coordinate suppliers’ capacities and sales requirements.

Perform other related duties as required.
Support other areas regarding program planning, vehicle scheduling and demand planning.
Financial authority and responsibility :
QUALIFICATIONS : Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field and / or the equivalent combination of education and / or experience
Experience : A minimum of 3 years of experience in Logistics; preferably with an automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or supplier or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Project Management with emphasis on launch / changeover activities
Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc. :
General knowledge of Master Part data structures
General knowledge of Bill of Material Applications
General knowledge of Product Documentation structures
Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills
Preferred Skills : German language skills
German language skills
Knowledge of demand and ordering systems such as DIALOG, TBE, Vokus, CAA, eWPP, MRS, SAP, NCM, BKM, ePortal
Knowledge of Marketing and Sales order systems and processes (ISPD, AFAB, PAD, etc.)
Understanding of changes within Vehicle Program Planning to support the identification of corrections for Equipment List, Launch packages, systems, etc.
Knowledge of vehicle data and variant table structures including color tables, software calibration number (SCN), spring / weight tables, vehicle data records (VDR), etc.
Knowledge of Product Overview documentation and data structure
Understanding how to add code rules, overall check rules, and order plausibility rules
