Job Description

Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical support for customers in Europe.
  • Acquire in depth product and technology knowledge on Dip-Tech’s Printers.
  • Install mechanical machines at customer site.
  • Train new customers on operations and maintenance in Romanian and English.
  • Provide on-site trouble shooting, repairs and solutions.
  • Phone and email support (including if needed; weekends and holidays).
  • Software and hardware updates and upgrades.
  • Attend annual trade show.
  • Deal with escalated situations and high profile customers.
  • Prepare internal reports for future conclusions.
  • Work Environment :

    Full time job requires 60%-70% travel per calendar year mainly in Europe and occasionally Israel and rest of the world.

    Engineer must live within reasonable proximity to airport (no longer than hour travel from there).

    Desired Skills and Experience

    Education :

    Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electronics engineering or equivalent.

    Experience :

    Three (3) years of experience in mechanical installations.

    Exposure to the glass or digital printing industry is an advantage.

    Experience with customer support is a plus.

    Skills :

  • Diverse technical capabilities.
  • Experience in servicing, repair and installations of other products.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening and presentation skills.
  • Strong communicator and effective problem solver.
  • Customer focused with outstanding follow up.
  • Self-motivated, works independently and remotely without daily direction.
  • Ability to make independent judgments relating to the repair and application of the product and can suggest updates and revisions to policy and procedures as needed.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft office, Knowledge in Illustrator and Photoshop a plus.
  • Fluent in at least Polish and English (including reading and writing), additional languages is an advantage.
