Data Protection officer

HUB (Poland and Baltics) Data ProtectionOfficer is responsible for managing locally Groups personal data protectionpolicies and processes, for employees, consumers and service providers, incompliance with local law.

The person is reporting to Country Managing Directorand HUB Legal Director, and functionally to Group Data Privacy Officer.

We expect that you succeed in :

Managing locally the Group DataProtection Governance program

  • managing dataprotection policies (in compliance with local regulations)
  • adaptingprocedures to ensure Group policies are effective (including privacy impactassessments, data subjects complaint handling procedures,)
  • adaptingstandard data protection clauses for consumers,clients, service providers
  • ensuringwith IT security that relevant measures guarantee compliance with dataprotection policies and procedures
  • reporting to localManagement and Group Data Privacy Officer on the data protection program implementation
  • Ensuring local entityscompliance on data protection

  • ensuringinternal documentation related to privacy including maintaing a record ofprocessing activities
  • drafting appropriatecontracts
  • cooperating with the DataProtection Authorities and act as its contact point for any related privacyissues
  • verifying data protection clauses incustomers and providers agreements
  • assessinginternal tools privacy impact and make recommendations to ensure toolscompliance
  • handlingdata breaches crisis situation with Group Data Privacy Officer and other relevant functions
  • ensuringthat data subjects requests are handled adequately and in a timely manner
  • assessing privacy risk support for stakeholders during privacy impact assessments and balancing tests
  • auditingvendors and services providers compliance status
  • informing country Managementand Group Data Privacy Officer of new regulations which may impact activities
  • Raising internal awareness

  • trainingall entitys employees and building data privacy awareness
  • communicatinginternally regularly;organize events, such as a Data Protection Day
  • monitoringthe local evolution on data protection (participate to conferences andtraining)
  • What are we looking for?

  • Experience as DataProtection Officer or Internal Controller
  • Educational legalbackground with legal professional experience
  • Knowledge of localdata protection law, regulations and practices
  • Experience inworking with Data Protection Authorities
  • Understanding ofdigital and IT challenges and business stakes
  • Excellentcommunicating skills
  • Ability to manageprojects (very good project management)
  • Ability toinfluence key stakeholders and manage relationships
  • Ability to manageinternal control processes
  • Fluent English& Polish

    Theprocessing of personal data is carried out for the purpose of the recruitmentprocess in accordance with Article 6(1)(c) of the General Regulation onPersonal Data of 27 April 2016, (hereinafter GDPR).
