Senior Compensation Analyst

How you will impact WestRock :

  • Work closely with your businesses, HR business partners, other COEs, Compensation Analysts, Benefits COE and HR Shared Services across region and globally
  • Assist in creating and managing market-based salary structures across EMEA and India region, including the ability to build compensation structures and benefits programs for new locations
  • Assist in implementing WRK standards and market-based rewards approaches for Europe and India
  • Accountable for communicating, educating, and training HR, HR Shared Services, business leaders, managers and employees in your businesses / regions
  • Guide HR leaders and managers on using compensation guidelines, policies, and practices to optimize how compensation tools can support the talent objectives of their group
  • Ensure compensation and benefits programs are understood and properly administered throughout the EMEA and India region
  • Understand the markets and compensation and benefits trends and proactively identify and addresses compensation issues in the business or region
  • Ensure proper linkages to global programs and balance with local market competitiveness and business strategies and objectives
  • Provide input into plan design and development
  • Participate in delivery of the annual salary and incentive administration processes
  • Conduct market pricing and recommendations for new and existing jobs; analyze current market practices as needed to ensure competitive rewards, internal equity and compliance
  • Assist in automation and standardization of processes to better support new and existing compensation initiatives (i.e.
  • global compensation technology, commercial compensation, market data management, market pricing infrastructure, etc.)

  • Manage annual salary survey participation and data analysis processes for WRK EMEA and India locations
  • What you need to succed :

  • Requires degree with major in human resources, business or finance strongly preferred along with related work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of total compensation experience in a role of similar complexity and scope
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in compensation principles and practices such as salary and variable pay strategies, labor market analysis and trending, job evaluation methodologies
  • Working knowledge of HR principles for integrating compensation with overall HR strategies
  • Ability to apply formulaic, mathematical and statistical data for compilation and analysis and interpret market intelligence
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI); knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems;
  • SAP / PeopleSoft a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and influencing needed to work with, HR and other shareholders
  • Ability to explain complex programs and technical information for non-technical stakeholder
  • Ability to lead activities and projects independently
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highest level of confidential and sensitive essential
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in changing environment with varied dynamics
