We are looking for a senior Solution Engineer for the location in Warsaw. The main focus is on the implementation of the new Tax at Source Service (TASS) application of the Tax at Source Services organization as well as software development and maintenance for the whole Tax Solution department.
In addition, all other tax software applications within the Tax Solution department will be supported in respect of implementing new functionality, maintenance, bug fixing and support.
Development of core functionalities of the Tax at Source Service applications
Development interfaces to / from other applications outside the tax domain Solution Design, data modelling (conceptual) and design (physical)
Ensure basic application / product technical documentation is produced
Work with bank-wide feeder applications, IT and Business architects, SUB- and Regulatory Strategy and Business Change projects
A motivated team, consisting of internals as well as on- / and offshore outsourced resources
Open to discussing flexible / agile working.
University degree or similar education in information technology or information management.
Experience on IBM Host software development : PL / I, DB2, IMS, JCL, Websphere MQ, Control-M, OS / 390, Strobe, ChangeMan, TSO / Developer Workbench
Any other programming language is an asset
Unix / Linux skills are a plus
Flexibility to cover other roles (e.g. BA / RE, Testing) is a strong asset
Working experience in Agile teams, preferably SCRUM or at least open to agile methodology (SCRUM)
Hands-on experience with automation testing
Great self-starter teammate and dedicated problem solver happy to take initiative to improve and ready to go "extra mile"
You are highly motivated and have superb interpersonal skills in English to be able to cooperate in distributed teams environment.
