This role is responsible for ensuring that 3M in EMEA has the digital product content in place that is required to drive growth via eCommerce channels and provide an outstanding customer experience on 3M.com.
Key Job Responsibilities :
Identify and drive the strategic direction of the role of Product Content in our customers’ online journeys and how 3M can develop and leverage best-
in-class product content to create a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Provide expert level consultancy to business and functional leaders throughout 3M EMEA on commercial opportunities with Product Content.
Continually develop organisational KPIs and assessment models that drive improvements in quality and the commercial value of 3M’s Product Content
Be responsible for delivering against all Product Content Management KPIs.
Develop, implement and govern standardised end-to-end content management processes that deliver the content required by 3M’s divisions and customers, throughout the Product lifecycle.
Identify and leverage 3rd party vendors that can significantly enhance 3M’s capability in the Product Content subject area and incorporate them into standardised workflows.
Manage a diverse range of business and functional stakeholders within 3M EMEA and represent 3M EMEA in all global committees related to Product Content.
Align activities with the requirements of 3M’s projects in merging the former WE and CEEMEA regions to provide a central EMEA service.
Professional Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Expert knowledge and extensive experience of Product Information Management strategies and systems, including Hybris, within large organisations.
Expert and in-depth understanding of the role of product content in digital marketing strategies including : web site creation, eCommerce, content syndication.
Excellent process analysis, design and redesign skills and experience of implementing significant change.
Excellent ability to solve a wide variety of nonroutine and difficult inquiries where the solution is not immediately apparent.
Excellent ability to develop solutions for multifaceted, interrelated, and complicated problems, which require strong analytical skills and significant interpretation of data.
Excellent ability to lead by influence rather than through direct management.
Excellent ability to articulate complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
Excellent project management and organisational skills, including Agile.
A strong customer service ethic for both, internal and external customers.
Wide experience collaborating across multiple countries and functions in potentially complex matrix organisation structures.
Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide Senior Management when necessary.
Excellent verbal, analytical and written communication skills in English.
Understanding of SAP Material Master and associated systems a bonus.
