Sales Operations & BI Analyst with French

This is a unique opportunity to become part of a new and dynamic team of experts support sales teams with analytics and insights.

The position is part of a newly built center of excellence supporting the commercial operations of Smith & Nephew in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region in the areas of Business Intelligence, SFE, Sales Operations and Pricing.

In this position you will provide analysis (secondary data, primary research, etc.) in order to develop in-depth commercial and marketing insights.

For that it is important to build close working relationships with Sales and Marketing leaders in the country clusters. You will be responsible to provide analysis and reports around essential KPI's and metrics, which can be input for commercial and planning activities or used for continuous improvement initiatives.

This expert role will support the commercial teams and focusses on the country cluster FRABENE (France and Benelux) The position is based in Wroclaw Poland and is reporting to the Sales Operations & BI Manager, also based in Wroclaw.


  • Sales analytics; support sales management execution and tracking by leveraging multiple data sources from data warehouses to manage extraction for the analysis of franchise and brand performance, strategic events, and sales pipeline.
  • Synthesize analytics results to provide actionable insights to business stakeholders

  • Rewards; manage field sales Contest and Awards Reporting. Ensure timely, accurate awards and promotion reporting, create and manage to an end of year National Sales Meeting timeline & deliverables.
  • Work with sales operations leads in the country clusters to develop the KPI's, dashboards and reports to ensure the biggest impact possible in our reporting.

  • Sales Force Effectiveness; support effectively the execution and implementation of initiatives by providing data or by supporting in the maintenance and administration of solutions and tools.
  • For example in areas like; sales force sizing and deployment, CRM, segmentation & targeting, business planning, or other initiatives to maximize sales productivity.

  • Incentive Management; use in-depth knowledge of field force incentive compensation systems and plans across Smith & Nephew to support in scheme calculation, adjustments or with queries from the field force.
  • Support the business in providing consolidated dashboards related to Incentive compensation and performance versus variable pay.


    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent


  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a data or business analyst.
  • Experience in commercial business processes e.g. sales or pricing analytics preferred.
  • Understanding of business intelligence, data warehousing / analytics principles preferred.
  • Financial or pricing analytics experience appreciated.
  • Experience within the Medical devices, equipment and hospital supplies sectors or pharmaceuticals appreciated.

  • Fluency in English and French spoken and written is a must.
  • Computer Skills

  • Advanced skills in Excel, Access and Powerpoint is a must.
  • Experience with reporting and dashboarding tools preferred.
  • Experience in SAP, CRM or other commercial IT suites appreciated.
