The Business & Controls Management team within MRM operates horizontally across each of the model validation and governance streams with the department, reporting directly to the head of MRMA Business & Controls Manager within the MRM department to help ensure :
Robust management and governance of regulatory commitments, interacting with internal and external clients to ensure all deliverables are according to the need.
Provision of up to date reporting and metrics on regulatory items for presentation to senior management and external stakeholders.
Headcount management and planning across the department.
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the department and actively design solutions to improve them.
Take initiative and work with external partners to implement such solutions.
Open to discussing flexible / agile working.
At least 3 years of practical experience in the financial services industry. Business risk (eg. Market / Credit / Operational / Enterprise) and / or project / program / change management experience desirable.
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; post graduate qualifications (Masters in Finance, MBA, etc.) preferred.
A high level of proficiency in Excel for data analysis and along with the ability to develop compelling PowerPoint presentations.
You are client focused and can communicate effectively with senior management, including having the ability to explain complex topics to a diverse range of audiences.
Interest in financial modeling, business process and banking regulations.
You are strong drive, motivation, customer focus.
You are dedicated and have the willingness to take ownership focusing and giving to achieve high quality of outputs and service.
You are self-motivated, well-adapted, task focused, able to structure your work and have a consistent track record of delivering high quality results to strict deadlines.
You are attention oriented with a good top-down perspective.
You posses experience in data management and analysis would be an advantage.
You have Additional certifications such as CFA, FRM, PRMIA, etc.
You have general understanding of global regulatory requirement would be a great asset.
