The EMEA Talent Acquisition (TA) Team in EMEA was formed in 2017 and we are now reaching a point in our evolution where the TA provision is moving from service to solution.

This means that we are now in the process of developing and improving our current service levels and really looking for ways to add maximum value to the business.

As a result, we are now looking for an experienced TA Manager to be based in Warsaw and manage the current team of 7 Talent Acquisition Specialists, based across six country locations.

This role will give the right person the opportunity to be instrumental in building a successful TA solution for NEM, develop and motivate the current team and think creatively to find the best ways to maximize our current process and system.

Budget / cost management is a critical part of this role and you will be required to heavily input into the annual budgeting process for EMEA.

In addition, and as part of the HR Leadership Team / Management Team for NEM, you will also have the opportunity to shape and drive the holistic TA offering for the country.

HR Center of Expertise (CoE) Managers contribute to the design, development, and implementation of policies, guidelines, processes, solutions so that the outcomes meet KONE’s current and future business needs, engage and motivate employees and develop KONE as a great place to work.

They are critical part of service deliver model in delivering related CoE services for the organization either as individual contributors or with their teams.

HR CoE Managers dedicate their time to service delivery and advisory activities. They collaborate with other HR teams and different business stakeholders to ensure that service delivery flows and that the set targets and KPIs are achieved.

Within the CoE organization they have clear counterparts on global, area and cluster / country levels to enable smooth service delivery across different units and countries.

This role description applies to any HR CoE Manager in any of KONE’s Manage People process areas. At the area, cluster or country level the focus of the role is more delivering the services / leading the service delivery operations of the related process area and collecting feedback and requirements for the development of the HR CoE and feeding those inputs to different HR governance forums.

  • Contribute to the design, development and implementation of selected Talent Acquisition (TA) processes so that the outcomes meet KONE’s current and future business needs, engages and motivates employees and develops KONE as great place to work.
  • Successfully drive / lead the delivery of selected Manage people processes.

  • Learning and Development - Competence development within the TA Team, professional and leadership competences, training development and delivery to the team and the business, employee engagement models
  • Talent acquisition, employer branding, diversity and inclusion, individual development, leadership and talent review.
  • Performance and Reward - Performance management, grading, salary management, retirement and employee benefits,
  • HR Operations Development - Core HR processes, HC / employment cost planning,
  • Collaborate and align with other HR teams and business stakeholders to deliver consistent TA services for the organization.
  • Contribute to the creation and development of TA CoE roadmaps e.g. by sharing country / cluster feedback and business requirements.
  • Evaluate business environment and workforce trends on an ongoing basis to make recommendations for units to achieve and exceed their TA targets.
  • Develop the annual HR CoE budget in line with global budgeting guidelines.
  • Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of TA CoE professionals to ensure that they have the needed knowledge and capabilities to deliver efficient and quality services for the organization within established budgets.
  • Ensure that policies and processes support KONE’s TA strategy and fulfil all needed regulations, laws and employment standards.
  • Maintain strong connections with HR colleagues within KONE and externally to share best practices and to understand current and future trends.
  • Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, EMEA, previous team management experience is essential, as is a proven track record within Talent Acquisition.

    This role also requires fluent or native English and Polish speaking abilities. Additional language speaking skills for the other countries in NEM would also be helpful but not essential.
