In this role you will :
Successfully develop, conceptualize and test various Engineering solutions, using statistical and machine learning models
Integrate the outcomes as real time analytics to elevate ability to create value for clients in areas and through means not immediately apparent to clients
Follow multiple approaches for project execution from adapting existing assets to Analytics use cases, exploring client data
Collaborate with other data scientists, subject matter experts, sales, and delivery teams to create solutions
Deliver strategic advanced analytics projects from design to execution.
We are looking for experience in the following skills :
Experience in at least one of the following engineering related solutions, supervised and unsupervised learning, classification models, cluster analysis, neural networks, non-parametric methods, multivariate statistics, reliability models, Markov models, stochastic models, Bayesian models, deep learning, genetic algorithms, fuzzy logic or inference systems
Experience in various statistical and machine learning models, data mining and unstructured data analytics in corporate or academic research environments
Experience in statistical software (Python, R, Octave, Tensorflow)
Programming experience (Python, R or similar)
As a Data Science Consultant we expect you to :
Solve engineering solutions using Statistical Methods, Machine Learning models
Think creatively to solve real world engineering business problems, which are not obvious, and use the clients extensive engineering knowledge and staff to develop with the clients, solutions that deliver increased efficiency, predict failures, etc.
Identify the key parameters that are involved in the solution and using the best algorithm to solve it
Work in a global collaborative environment where you will lead a small team
Developing and delivering machine learning models that work in an engineering production setting
Knowledge of UNIX or Linux environments
Work with sensor data coming of working assists, time series analysis, failure analysis using time series data
Work with large data streaming technologies like Spark
Work with relational databases and have an intermediate level knowledge of SQL
Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
