Senior Cloud Engineer will be involved in the architecture, design and planning of infrastructure solutions based on both private and hybrid cloud platforms.
A strong knowledge of data center virtualization, Storage, network, systems and system flow between virtualized environments and non-virtualized environments would be advantageous.
This position will have a broad range of responsibilities that require a deep technical knowledge of enterprise architecture (physical and virtual servers, SAN, Linux / Windows Operating Systems, Networking);
and cloud technologies.
Alignment of strategies with customer expectations and global policies
Solution Technical design preparation
Solution Costs model preparation
Assist with the development of a solutions strategy to meet customer’s requirement and which is also in line with business requirements
Alignment of design with Atos portfolio
Implementation and improvement of solution standards
Provide guidance and governance to cloud team
Strong experience with Cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Sound experience and knowledge across multiple technology domains
Capability to guide, manage and mentor technical teams
Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels with an ability to apply a suitable layer of abstraction pertinent to audience
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation to a high professional standard
Ability to co-ordinate remote and local delivery teams
Be a team plyer capable of working with both technical and non-technical resources.
