As a Front-end Software Engineer you will be responsible for building highly usable, reliable, and scalable software solutions to dramatically enhance our customer experience and make our portal a best platform in its class in terms of performance and availability.
This is a short-term contract.
Day-to-day, You will
Work with the latest front-end development technologies such as Typescript, Angular / AngularJS, Sass, Bootstrap, NodeJS* Develop module site structure and code, with a focus on code reuse* Conduct code reviews and suggest areas for refactoring or improvement* Work in an Agile environment delivering new components and products* Be an active part in making architectural decisions and providing a source of knowledge and new ideas within the team* Work closely with our QA teams to improve test suites for changes in our software About the Team
Luna is Akamai’s face to our users on the Web. It provides a full range of tools, including analytics, configuration management, web services, training, support, and billing for our customers to manage their accounts online.
The Luna team is responsible for the software infrastructure, development, look and feel and technical evolution of the Luna Control Center.
Development engineers in the team execute full lifecycle development of a large-scale multi-tier web application : requirements analysis, application design, implementation and deployment to customer-
facing production. We develop primarily in AngularJS, Typescript, HTML, CSS and NodeJS. Required Skills
Experience with Webpack, NodeJS, NPM* Experience with Web Services and RESTful APIs* Experience with Object Oriented design concepts, patterns and software architecture* Expertise and experience in putting into practice responsive web design patterns
