The Role Responsibilities

The Training and Awareness team is responsible for fostering the Bank’s security culture. It drives the design, development, deployment and enablement of delivery via awareness communities of practice across the globe based on employees roles and risk types.

It does this through immersive and thought-provoking training and awareness initiatives that drive down the human aspect of information and cyber security (ICS) risk.

The team’s remit spans general employee awareness, role based training, phishing awareness, communications, assessing behaviour change and awareness risk reporting.

We are looking for a dynamic and talented awareness professional to join our small team in a new and very varied role. This individual will work with all awareness team leads to flex their creative muscles across the entire awareness portfolio to drive down the human aspect of cyber security risk.

This would be a perfect role for someone interested in all aspects of Cyber security training and awareness

  • Enable the Heads of ICS across the Client Businesses, Functions and Geographies, and their awareness leads to drive employee awareness in their respective areas : collaborate to roll-out creative engagement activities supported by the awareness communities of practice
  • Establish and sustain regular stakeholder calls / communications, providing advice and tools (e.g. trackers, sample plans) to demonstrate progress vs agreed targets.
  • Prepare and update appropriate visually impactful reports and provide actionable communications when needed

  • Reveal clear insights to Heads ICS and awareness leads to help them deliver improvement on their employee awareness across the Client Business, Functions and Geographies.
  • Manage ICS awareness champions and awareness facilitation partners teams across the Bank and provide guidance, content and strategic direction for them to drive awareness locally.
  • Deploy field-ready campaigns, content and guidance kits, and jointly determine methods of delivery to end users with CISO Campaigns and Content team

  • Plan and manage the train-the-trainer programme for facilitation partners
  • Plan and manage rewards / recognition and continuous learning programme for champions / facilitation partners to enhance their skills in effective delivering of staff awareness
  • Our Ideal Candidate

  • A self-starter, go-getter with a minimum of 7-10 years relevant working experience in building awareness or employee engagement / change programmes, delivering employee training or in similar fields
  • A genuine interest in building and developing teams, and passionate about engaging employees
  • Finely tuned attention to detail with the ability to lead and act strategically with an eye for the bigger picture a must
  • Meticulous project management skills
  • Excellent and proven communications and writing skills a must
  • Advanced competency skills using MS Office software (particularly Powerpoint). Knowledge of elearning development an advantage
  • A reasonably competent level of understanding of (or interest in) information technology and user-oriented information security.
