Your responsibilities
Drive all documentation, testing and assessment of local SOX control framework
Coordinate closely with the central accounting team to drive policy development and adherence, and to train local teams on standard and policy changes
Work closely with RtR teams to provide support, insight and documentation for statutory reporting
Lead local month-end closing effort with strong support from SSC and Central Accounting teams
Monthly testing of operating effectiveness of internal controls and aggregating the results
Preparation and update of internal guidelines and booklets
Extend SOX and accounting support to smaller markets to ensure consistency and coverage
Drive the annual Balance Sheet Review processes with the support of the SSC
Prepare any locally required reporting, analysis and write-ups for statutory filings
Serve as the official interaction point with authorities, auditors (internal and external) and collaborate with central
Our requirements
Master degree in Finance / Accounting or related field
2+ years of experience in Finance / Audit (external or internal)
Fluent English oral and written
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
SAP knowledge or other ERP system
High orientation on procedures and risks associated with particular business operations
Experience with SOX controls
Ability to quickly build effective reports with expected results
Strong organization and communication skills

The Accounting team establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, preparing financial reports and safeguarding the organization's assets.
Maintains accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports.
This role in summary
As a Cluster Compliance Specialist You will lead the local SOX Control and Compliance effort to proactively eliminate defects, drive regular and robust documentation, test internal controls and ensure good coordination between central and local accounting teams.
You will also provide local support and coordination with central teams during audits to minimize risk and improve outcomes and drive local support for the closing process and ensure good coordination with RtR and Central Accounting Team.
