What You’ll Do

As a natural leader, you will work closely with Cisco Sales and CX Teams in developing new business opportunities and delivering proposals and closing opportunities to meet our customer’s business and IT needs.

You excel in applying your expertise in architectures, technologies and consultancy for services design and driving customer outcomes.

You will actively develop relationships with our customers, key partners, facilitate client sessions, lead pre-sales efforts ensuring appropriate experts are engaged, to deliver business growth with trusted expertise and value creation.

You will be part of CX, the Customer Experience organisation that is leading multi-discipline Cisco colleagues transforming how we work with strategic and complex clients to help them achieve their goals with Cisco.

You will be building positive relationships internally and externally leading to growth. You will join a team that are focusing on Customer Experience across the entire lifecycle, with this role focusing on pre-sales, the results and long-term success of Cisco.

Who You Are

You are an analytical problem solver with a strong technology background, coupled with business acumen and inter-personal skills, compelled to help customers grow.

You have the ability to lead diverse teams in multiple pre-sales engagements coordinating activities, driving efficient collaboration and effective governance, producing high quality proposals.

You are deeply organized, yet comfortable in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment. High energy, "roll-up your sleeves" attitude and dedication to success are imperative.

You are able to handle multiple priorities across complex projects and convey complex concepts in the simplest of terms.

You thrive dynamic in a diverse environment and you can work with a variety of critical priorities converting customer problems into Cisco delivery.

Knowledge, Skills and Responsibilities :

  • 5+ years in sales / solution development / business development role and 12+ years of work experience
  • Strong client presence and consulting and / or delivery skills
  • Experience in Service Design for integrated service solutions
  • Cisco professional certification level (CCNP / CCDP / CCSP) or equivalent knowledge in Data Center & Cloud
  • Pre-sales or delivery experience with majority of the following Data Center & Cloud solutions available at the market :
  • Cloud : AWS, Azure, Openstack, GCloud, Public / Private / On Premise Cloud Concepts
  • Application Centric Infrastructure : ACI MultiPod / MultiSite, automation, micro-segmentation, VMM integration
  • DC Switching : Cisco Nexus, Spine / Leaf architecture, VXLAN EVPN, QoS, FCoE, DCNM
  • Storage Area Networking : MDS and basic Storage concepts
  • Compute : Hyperflex, UCS, Fabric Interconnect, Cisco Intersight, Virtualization, Containers, Hadoop
  • DC Network Insights : NIR, NIA, NAE
  • Ability to consult and communicate effectively with demonstrable skills in writing compelling storylines, both in slide and text formats
  • Strong organisational skills including planning, reporting, directing / coordinating the work of others
  • Ability to handle multi-tasking environment and to meet tight deadlines
  • Work and lead in a multi-functional diverse matrix organisation of experts
  • Applies expertise in architectures, technologies, consultancy for services design
  • Analysis and problem solving with focus on aligning solutions to strategic imperatives
  • Drives customer outcomes by :
  • Developing potential opportunities from an early sales stage
  • Designing service solutions for fully qualified opportunities
  • Leading with transactional services but driving towards a long-term lifecycle services solution
  • Aligns to regional service and business needs as required, including
  • Growth participate in go to market strategies for growth initiatives
  • Offer lifecycle supporting development and introduction of new services and enabling sales to use them
  • Customer-facing services portfolio SME working with sales and CX to develop new business opportunities to booking
  • Interlocked with sales and delivery
  • Jointly validating and prioritizing engagement opportunities
  • Produce compelling proposals with associated Service Design, levels of effort, quotes and contracting documentation
  • Desirable experience in partnering / subcontracting professional services
  • Strong general knowledge across a broad range of technology solutions such as Security, Networking, Data Centre, Cloud, Software etc.
