Your Responsibilities :
The Logistics Regional Category Manager is a role operating in a highly complex, competitive environment. To support the business growth, this role has been created to manage and influence stakeholder’s enterprise-
wide to become advocates of Procurement and secure credibility through demonstrated delivery and win-win partnerships, securing a competitive advantage for GSK in a highly competitive environment.
Your responsibilities :
Accountable for implementation of procurement strategies and delivery of procurement savings across multiple regions for in-
market distribution (warehousing and transportation)
Building close partnerships and alignment with in county teams to support the strategy deployment and savings delivery
Engagement with stakeholders across the E2E supply chain - working collaboratively with all Supply Chain stakeholders (Pharma and Consumer) across the business
Active involvement in strategy development and deployment of the Supply Chain strategies
Leading Continuous Improvement and Savings Programmes
Embedding Processes & Ways of Working : champion, imbed & integrate new / revised processes and systems into the region as are they are rolled-
out through the centre-lead initiatives (ISP, Absolute, Galaxy, MERPS, etc)
Basic qualifications :
Bachelor Degree (Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance)
Min. 2-3 years of Procurement experience in logistics
Great analytical skills (analytics, info management, etc)
Good understanding of Procurement tools such as sourcing, quotation analysis, contract negotiation, supplier review, supplier development and others
Good ability on team work to drive, implement and support change
Good ability to manage sensitive partnerships, strong influencing and stakeholder partnering skills coupled with excellent negotiation and communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills fluent English
Good knowledge of finance (cost benchmark) and legal matters (contracting)
Experience on Risk management
