A successful candidate will be proficient in the use of coding languages and frameworks (e.g. Python, .Net, FastAPI, Ansible, Terraform, Angular and Django) used in the deployment and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following : Support GSKs on-prem to Cloud (Azure and GCP) migration strategy by building and maintaining IaC automation solutions.

Provide leadership and consultation on technical matters to a variety of GSK development functions. Develop and deliver solutions to technical challenges and respond to more complex questions regarding the organization’s products and services.

Analyze requirements and translate to technical requirements to develop proposals outlining how the organization’s products and services can meet these needs and be integrated and implemented with the customer’s technical infrastructure.

Estimate the costs, resources, time, and technical requirements of modifying, configuring, and installing the organization’s products and services to meet customer needs.

Apply software design theories and principles, perform complex work in research, design and development of new or existing products, tools and processes required for the operation, maintenance and testing of products.

Liaise with hardware, software, and systems design engineers to ensure that products and services are modified, configured, and installed according to customer needs.

Maintains familiarity with architectural standards and vision, Business Unit IT Technology Roadmaps, technical landscape, validation requirements, central service request processes, GSK policies and other aspects of GSK environment.

Supports Product Owners, Managers and the Delivery Team to design, develop and transition new automation solutions into production, fostering and maintaining close links with infrastructure services colleagues.

Maintain high level of awareness on development standards across direct / in direct peers by conducting regular workshops and training session (knowledge sharing).

Why you?Basic Qualifications : We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals : 4+ years of software engineering and delivery experience A proven track record of integrating front and back end services into a IaC solutions.

Experience with designing and using CI / CD pipelines (e.g. ADO Pipelines). Experience with integrating products with MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases Hands on experience in developing software in at least TWO out of following technologies : .

NET, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Yaml and Python solutions. Experience of developing and using APIs Proven experience of designing and engineering solutions to resolve business specific problems Extensive experience of Agile ways of working (Jira, Confluence) Preferred Qualifications : If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus : Azure and / or GCP certifacations preferred but not essentialPython certification preferred but not essentialExperience in splitting solution-perspective objectives into smaller, delivery tasks will be a plusWhy GSK?
