Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.
They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels.
They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain.
Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.
Tasks Summary and Responsibilities :
Responsible for analysing and optimising the global supply chain footprint for the Product Line Portfolio
Accountable for designing the end-to-end supply chain utilising lean material replenishment strategies
Accountable for and tasked with analysing the lead-time performance of internal and external sources and driving improvement
Accountable and responsible for analysing the delivery performance to customer request date and driving improvement
Accountable and answerable for forecasting the impact to Inventory levels considering projected supply and demand
Accountable and responsible for managing the disposal of non-moving inventory
Ensure that slow-moving inventory is identified and cooperate with Product Management to drive corrective action
Identify mis-alignment between source MOQ and Sales MOQ and drive actions to align
Accountable and responsible for managing the S&OP supply review process within the Product Line Portfolio and provide an executive summary to the management team
What your background should look like :
Bachelor degree in Economics or Business Administration or equivalent
6+ years experience in Supply Chain / S&OP / Demand Management or related disciplines
Experience of working in the Industrial sector is a plus
Excellent problem solving skills, analytical skills, and communication skills
Continuous Improvement / Lean Management knowledge is a must
Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus
Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to work in a matrix environment with multi-cultural teams
Ability to oversee broad and complex end-to-end Supply Chain environment
Advanced knowledge in the use of SAP, IBP and Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
APICS Certification is a plus
Fluent in English, local language is a plus
