The Digital team at Pegasystems creates, maintains and continuously improves the websites that help people learn, sell and buy Pega applications.
The 5+ digital properties we work on span internal and external audiences across offices in North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region.
In this role you will be a key member of unifying the look and feel across all Pega's digital properties, including both Drupal and Pega implementations.

You will work with a diverse team of content creators, developers, and designers to help shape the content editor experience across multiple Drupal 8 properties.
You'll also be a key member of the Digital Backbone project, which unifies the look and feel across all Pega's digital properties, including both Drupal and Pega implementations.
What You'll Do at Pega :
Resolve complex Drupal issues reported on existing production systems
Work on Drupal theming layer (CSS, JS, templating) to resolve performance and usability issues
Work on Drupal back end and Database layer to resolve data integrity, security and performance issues
Look at error logs to identify and fix production bugs
Build and code state of the art Drupal 8 and Drupal 9 websites
Create and maintain web solutions using Drupal 8 and 9 using the standards and best practices of the Drupal community
Leverage Drupal contrib modules and develop custom modules to meet the needs of our digital sites
Implement or upgrade appropriate Drupal 8 and 9 modules
Partner with stakeholders to deliver services through the externally facing digital properties
Work with the QA test automation team
Who You Are :
You are an intelligent, motivated, and accomplished web developer who has a track record of building large and complex Drupal websites with :
Bachelor / Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of software development experience
3+ years PHP development experience with a CMS
1+ years Drupal 8 experience
Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on projects when needed
Advanced knowledge of Drupal 8 and Drupal 9, PHP, HTML and CSS
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality Web experiences
SSH and Unix command line skills
Experience with agile software development and Scrum
Passion for learning and applying new web technology
A commitment to collaboration and teamwork in all facets of Web development
