CEE Senior Finance Business Partner

The selected candidate will be the head of finance in Poland and manage the Oracle TSBU Central East European business finance team (TSBU CEE), managing its resources and reporting directly to the Iberia, Benelux and Central East European Finance Director.

The role requires an understanding of the Oracle License and Cloud business and the ability to liaise with and support the CEE Technology Sales Business Unit regional Vice President and his country leaders in CEE.

It also requires full alignment and seamless cooperation with our shared services centers in Bucharest, Dublin and Bangalore.

The candidate will be part of the cluster leadership team (CLT) in Poland

Key responsibilities

  • Provide proactive business finance support to the CEE TSBU Regional Vice President
  • Provide business leaders with timely, insightful financial analysis to promote growth and increase effectiveness
  • Manage the Technology revenue forecast processes and its governance, including forecast calls, risk assessment and reporting
  • Monitor the operating expenses and headcount and drive margin accountability of the TSBU
  • Support in driving key initiatives including potential cost savings opportunities or sales busters
  • Be actively engaged in the centralization of low value added finance functions to the Shared Service Centres in Romania and India
  • Monitor the sales incentive compensation in the CEE region, review attainments and validate quarterly compensation accrual
  • Support in building the License Technology budget process : Revenue country and industry distribution, Headcount deployment, Opex and Margin.
  • Quota planning and market segmentation advice, working with the Business Operations and the Global Compensation teams
  • Coordinate the yearly compensation planning process, monitoring the generation and acceptance of the sales compensation plans
  • Advice the sales team on finance guidelines, business process and procedures
  • review and anticipate revenue recognition and credit and collection issues
  • Maintain an effective control environment by supporting interpretation and implementation of Corporate policies and best practices
  • Participate in cross functional programs / projects as required
  • Requirements :

  • Physical location in Poland (Warsaw)
  • Degree in Economic or Business Administration is a mandatory requirement
  • An excellent level of English
  • Significant experience in a Finance / Operations team in a high demanding multinational
  • Strong Financial background, preferably in IT sector

  • Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    Financial support to business areas through financial analysis, budgeting, planning and forecasting; to facilitate decision making and future business strategies.

    As a member of Oracle*s finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control.

    Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.

    on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Prepares recommendations based on analyzes. May perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad-

    hoc analysis as needed. You may participate in cross functional programs and projects.

    Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in area of specialization.

    Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in Oracle Financials. Strong analysis and research skills. Ability to partner across functions.

    8 years relevant work experience. BS / BA in Accounting / Finance preferred. CPA / MBA desired.
