Here at GSK, we are looking for an Ethics and Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team to Champion Values & Expectations, Lead Enterprise Risk Management, Deliver Easier Compliance and be the dedicated Ethics and Compliance Officer for our Business Service Centre in Poznan, Poland.
As an Ethics and Compliance Manager you will be accountable for the following main areas :
1. Promote a Values and risk-based decision-making culture’ across the Global Support Functions (GSFs);
2. Enhance the capability and performance of GSF risk management teams and risk practices;
3. Protect and enable the GSFs by deploying enterprise-wide and targeted risk management solutions that are risk based and fit for purpose;
4. Deliver continuous improvement by making it easier for GSF employees to adhere to compliance requirements; and
5. Provide meaningful insights to GSF Leadership that are actionable by leveraging digital data and analytics.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to lead key activities to progress your career with responsibilities involving the following :
To be the dedicated E&C Manager for the assigned GSFs, currently Global Procurement and the Ethics and Compliance Officer for Poznan BSC;
ensuring effective compliance oversight, with focus on Global Support Functions;
Play a leading role in implementing and overseeing the GSK Ethics & Compliance Programme across Poznan BSC;
Proactively seek to understand and influence Poznan BSC strategies and objectives using strategic thinking and knowledge of the GSK business and Key Risk Indicators.
This role supporting Poznan BSC will operate across a number of functions including Human Resources, Procurement, Tech, Finance
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the GSFs based on trust, respect and integrity; to be a trusted business partner / advisor.
Support preparation of the agenda and content for GSF RMCBs, (or equivalent governance meetings) currently Procurement and Poznan BSC to ensure that these meetings are value adding and impactful.
Proactively influence the GSFs through understanding the business and objectives of the functions, currently Procurement and Poznan BSC, and support business risk management.
Help the GSFs evaluate the appetite for risk and explore options for proactive and pragmatic mitigation.
Collaborate with the Risk and Operations teams ensuring alignment and delivery of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) priorities across the GSFs and suggest best practices seen.
Maintain engagement with the GSF Risk Teams and other relevant communities such as BSC Poznan through regular Communications (e.g. using Workplace).
Partner with the GEC CoEs (ERM, ABAC, TPO, Privacy) on the design and delivery of these programs and to champion the GSF perspective.
Support GSF E&C Officer and ERM Risk Coordinator in mitigating the key enterprise risks including ABAC, TPO, Privacy and Information Security for GSFs, while maintaining engagement with the Risk teams.
Support completion of CET Confirmation exercise for Global Procurement and Poznan BSC (potentially, in the future).
Increase audit readiness within Global Procurement and provide high level support during Global Procurement Audit and Assurance (A&A) audits.
Agree and support creation and management of A&A CAPAs.
Design and implement Management Monitoring in Indirect Procurement for Enterprise and Business Risks including Global Procurement service areas and engagements.
Ensure Data Privacy controls are in place for the key third party engagements.
Work effectively in a highly matrixed organisation across geographies and cultures. Maintain confidentiality and trust around sensitive compliance issues.
Provide support to the GSF E&C Officer as required.
Basic Qualifications :
We are looking for an E&C professional with these required skills to achieve our goals :
Professional certifications for designated risk areas (e.g. CA / CPA for Financial Controls, CISA or CRISC for Information Protection).
Working knowledge of what constitutes an effective internal control framework and supporting compliance programmes.
Demonstrated significant compliance client support experience in a global pharmaceutical, related healthcare organization or consultancy firm supporting healthcare clients.
Knowledge of the Procurement processes and controls is highly desirable
Excellent understanding of the regulatory, society and economic trends of the healthcare industry is foundational to success in this role.
Ability to work effectively and sensitively in a highly matrixed organisation across geographies and cultures.
Connected with peers in the industry to allow sharing of best practices.
Track record in providing a high degree of reliance, accountability, and value-added consultation / support to senior leaders in the business and support functions.
Ability to provide strategic advice as well as operational solutions.
