The Central Data Office will be responsible for the introduction of Data Quality Monitoring and Group Data Governance supporting the Big Bet’ to Unleash Digital whilst delivering day-to-day operational excellence.

The VMD Specialist is accountable for optimizing and maintaining Vendor master data in key applications.
Set up and maintenance of all vendor master data
Assisting Procurement with functional and technical support
Working with other internal departments for coordination on vendor data tasks and projects
Providing support to internal and external customers for vendor data
SME for vendor data and reporting
You will work closely with the Finance and Vendor Master Data to develop a deep process and system understanding, focused on how the data that is consumed, created, or output in relation to the business processes
As part of the lift-and-shift SAP migration to the future Wella ERP, the first priorities will be to understand the environment, evaluate master data quality, run global health checks and support data cleansing, allowing sound and timely preparation for migration.
Finally, the VMD Specialist will work closely with the FMD Manager to drive standardization, help set the strategy and performance objectives for the post-migration Central Master Data process improvements.
Master Data management experience is preferable or some experience in finance
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and results-driven
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize and organize, ensuring all tasks are completed in a time-efficient manner
Ability to work across cultures with all levels of organization as well as with different functions
Strong work ethics and personal integrity
Mastery of Microsoft Office tools
Willing to travel on an occasional basis as part of the global role
An understanding of Procure to Pay (P2P) processes, systems and policies
Working knowledge of SAP
A practical appreciation of how poor data quality undermines the ability of decision makers from using that data with confidence to understand and manage the business.
Understanding of business rule and data standard management.
