The EMEA Technical Support Operations (TSO) supports a global customer base for advanced two-way radio communications systems, mainly based upon an IP backbone.
The systems cover the TETRA, MOTOTRBO and LTE standards. This is a rapidly expanding market with high growth expected.

In this job, you will be working with digital communication standards such as TETRA, DMR and LTE. Technologies we use include virtualization and various operating systems (Red Hat Linux, Windows Server 2008 / 2012 etc.).
We are looking for a person that will be accountable for an end-to-end process of providing an excellent customer experience of Motorola technical support services.
A person with a passion for technology, willingness to learn, and flawless communication skills in English and German.
Main responsibilities :
To give second / third line technical support to both internal and external customers and become a subject matter expert on the Motorola Solutions devices product portfolioTo take ownership of customer issues and ensure accurate and timely ticket management, driving investigations and root cause analysis to meet or exceed customer expectations and contractual obligationsMust be analytical in thought processMust be able to liaise between the engineering departments product and project teams as wells as external and internal customer coherently in written and spoken English and GermanParticipate in design reviews, feature and release content reviews providing a customer / user’s perspective on the software solutions developed.
however, travel to customer sites may be required in order to expedite service requests that cannot be resolved remotely
Basic requirements : Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and GermanExperience in advanced technical support and / or IT background is a valuable assetExperience in radio telecommunications systems is a valuable assetBachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalentMust have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasksAttention to detailExcellent ability to characterize and solve technical issues, collaborate and make recommendationsStrong analytical skillsKnowledge of ITIL is an assetAbility to work both efficiently and effectively within an international team / organizationAble to work independently with minimum supervision
