Join Amazon's HR team and help make a difference for all Amazonians! The Screening Services team supports global screening programs and we are currently looking for a Program Manager to join our International Screening Services Program team.

We are looking for an exceptional inventor and problem solver, who has strong project management experience. In this role you will lead some of the new key strategic projects that are to change the way we operate our Screening Services Programs, with high visibility to the business.

The International Program Manager is responsible for analysis of program service levels, quality and vendor metrics and trends, monthly and quarterly business reviews.

He / She will report on key drivers of our businesses, interacting with internal stakeholders and vendors, taking disparate data to make it actionable, analyzing existing metrics and data, forecasting to plan workflow capacity across geographies, driving special projects designed to maximize efficiency and increase production and maintain compliance.

Additional responsibilities will include, but not be limited to :

  • Delivery of HR Screening Services implementation project work stream(s), accountable for defining and launching new services to support employees in global locations.
  • Build and maintain successful partnerships with the respective HR Services team, HR stakeholders and key business sponsors across global HR Services.
  • Work with and establish project teams and ensure that all agreed strategic projects are progressing and delivering desired results on time and in budget, to include : process improvements, HR systems and delivery capability.
  • As required maintain relationships with internal / external vendors / parties to ensure teams are engaged and effectively utilizing the best tools available.
  • Maintain key relationships with HR partners to ensure non duplication of projects and to drive global engagement on key initiatives.
  • Manage a service, business or product, with demonstrated improvement in results.
  • Document business requirements and specifications, work cross-functionally with customers, legal, service teams, technology, and vendors.
  • Track and report on project or service health, including quality, cost, speed, and project status. Must be able to dive deep into data.
  • Demonstrate a bias for action and an ability to deal with great ambiguity.

    Flexible location - Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of relevant program / project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Intermediate to advanced analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
  • Self-starter, strong drive, bias for action and result oriented.
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize and work under pressure on a number of projects at the same time.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within and outside the organization
  • Fluent in English, any other European languages would be considered an advantage.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Thorough command of HR processes and / or a compliance background preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with HR, business and technical teams.
  • A formal qualification in project management.
  • Experience in projects spanning multiple countries, global regions and / or leading cross functional projects.
  • A strong track record of sustained and continuously improving operational excellence.
  • A passion for invention, experimentation, and learning.
  • Leadership in issue-resolution in a deadline driven environment.
  • Quick self-started learner.
