Department Overview

Centralized Managed Support Operations - Service Design Tools & Infrastructure organization. This department delivers a broad range of technical support services for the tools, applications, network and infrastructure of managed service operations, inclusive of service request fulfillment, incident management / service restoration, change management, validations, deployments, migrations, server builds, network setup / configuration, patches, monitoring, system performance optimization and database management.

Job Description

Application Support Specialist Intern will be responsible for :

Participating in the investigation and analysis of issues and requests presented by customersProviding basic technical knowledge about an application or suite of applicationsPerforming daily systems checksMaintaining customer requests and tracks the progress of the incident through to incident resolution.

Maintaining Team Knowledge Base Participating in building pro-active monitoring automation for internal systems / applications

Basic Requirements

4th or 5th year of study (an active University Student in an IT related discipline)Fluent in EnglishHigh level of motivation with the drive to succeedCuriosity for IT related products and solutionsTeam playerGood knowledge of Windows / Linux systems Basic network related knowledgeGood troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of scripting languages (Python,Perl,Bash)Ability to work at least 30 hours per week
