What does the responsibility look like?
The SD Worx Product organization is organized in tribes which develop and support our products. As the Enterprise Architect focused on security you are a member of the CoE Architecture and Security which supports the tribes.
As a member of the CoE team, you help build a future-oriented and scalable enterprise security architecture, which guides the various tribes in their daily developments.
What does your day look like?
Provide strategy advice at both strategic and tactical levels to diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Translate the strategy into sustainable and adequate security solutions that offer sufficient maneuverability.
Create reusable artifacts - develop and maintain security architecture artifacts (models, templates, standards and procedures) that can be used to leverage security capabilities in projects and operations.
Review security technologies, tools and services, and make recommendations to the CoE and CISO for their use based on security, financial and operational metrics .
You advise the central and decentralized architecture teams and develop them into a performing team.
Shape the information security architecture and the coherence of applications and information systems within SD Worx.
Make an active contribution to the changes necessary for the further professionalization and increase of the quality of the security architecture function in IT.
Guide the stakeholders in making choices and facilitate decisions where and when needed.
Have an overview of current security technology and frameworks and follow information trends to maximize opportunities and minimize risks.
Follow market developments and IT Trends and translate them into business opportunities. This way you facilitate innovation across the organization's boundaries and you can lead an innovative process.
Participate in the Architects and other relevant team meetings.
Keep the enterprise security architecture criteria, principles, policies & standards up to date.
Build a strong partnership with all your business and IT stakeholders.
You are a facilitator, and the go-between in terms of security requirements and risks in the development of SD Worx products between the tribes and CISO.
You can turn strategy into solutions.
You have experience in agile way of working, shift left-approach and enabling security strategies by design that are business aligned and self-service.
You can translate the risk to business terms (the why) and can provide the right risk assessment drivers.
You develop the definition of fitting security frameworks and the 'definition of done' with a view to value stream. At the capability level, you explain which non-functional security requirements are required and how to deploy them.
You speak English well. Other languages are a plus.
You do not believe in a 'one fits all approach'.
You obtained a master’s degree or hold a 5-year experience in enterprise security architecture.
You are a good communicator and motivator , show initiative and leadership in your domain, can delegate authority, have knowledge of future-oriented (security) challenges and how to respond to them in a diversified IT landscape.
