Delivery Director is the most senior leadership position in the Delivery function. By leveraging corporate capabilities, the Delivery Director partners up with career advisors and HR professionals to cultivate SoftServe’s talent pool and develop future technical and project leadership.

You are a perfect candidate if you have :
Experience in taking extreme ownership of all aspects of the project, such as budget, scope, schedule, and quality
Understanding of how the software development company works and what business models it has
Professional and business education or training in project management such as MSTM, MBA, and similar
At least ten years of proven experience with management
Proven track record of team-building and distributed team management
Understanding of SDLC management and great proficiency in the project management industry standards
Knowledge of traditional and Agile project management methodologies
Advanced understanding of the project management techniques and tools, including basic revenue models, profit and loss modeling, cost-to-completion projections, project pricing models, project billing procedures, budget estimation techniques, and others
Proven experience with managing the different project types (Fixed bid, Time and Material, Outcome-based, SLA)
At least Upper-Intermediate strong level of English
Tracking the IT industry trends
Willingness to travel

Deeply engaged delivery team (including the selection of Project Managers) and ensuring the Management Team is developing and moving up the value chain
Ensuring the client’s satisfaction by delivering an extraordinary experience within business goals
Client’s expectations management and ensuring the delivery commitments are fulfilled on scope, time and within budget
Ensuring the implementation of delivery excellence best practices to guarantee both quality and an optimal level of operational efficiency
Providing the team members across the delivery unit with the opportunities for continuous growth and personal development
Keeping members of the delivery unit well informed of SoftServe’s corporate values, strategic goals, changes within the company, and general corporate news
Motivating, guiding, coaching, and encouragement of the management team of the delivery unit together with HR Business Partner.
Ensuring the definition and implementation of career development and succession planning for the team members
Client Success Leader and Client Partner proactively to identify and take up opportunities to enhance the level of employee satisfaction
Management of the operating profit and loss together with the Financial Partner
Establishing and maintaining effective staffing practices within the delivery unit together with GTO Partner. Taking responsibility for staffing the management team of the delivery unit
